AN2211 Bionova BT110 Biological Indicator
The Bionova® BT110 can confirm sterilization cycle efficacy after 4 hours or 48 hours of incubation. After 4 hours of incubation, a UV light can be utilized and fluorescent activity indicates positive results (a failed sterilization cycle). After 48 hours of incubation, medium color change from blue to yellow indicates positive results (a failed sterilization cycle). Either method is sufficient; the 48-hour incubation is not required if the 4-hour incubation method is utilized. Refer to biological indicator’s instructions for use for more details.
