The AN7514 Anprolene Gas Sterilization Kit is designed for use with your current AN74 Sterilizer as well as AN75 series sterilizers. Developed with customer safety, efficiency, and value in mind, this upgraded kit includes a safer EO cartridge, impermeable sterilization bags, AN87 dosimeters for sterility assurance, and improved packaging that helps reduce overall shipping costs.
Cost Efficiency
Although the AN7514 Gas Kit has a slightly higher upfront cost, it delivers greater overall value by including more essential components in a single package. The previous AN7916 Gas Kit included 14 EO ampoules and 14 sterilization bags, while other required items, such as dosimeters, had to be purchased separately.
The new AN7514 Gas Kit includes 14 EO cartridges, 14 dosimeters, 14 impermeable sterilization bags, and a purge probe replacement strap—all packaged together in one kit. By consolidating these essential items into a single purchase, customers benefit from lower overall costs through reduced shipping expenses and the convenience of ordering everything they need at once.

Comparing Kits
EO Ampoules vs Cartridges
The improved product design of these EO gas cartridges enhances operator safety. The AN7916 kit included 14 EO gas ampoules, each individually wrapped in EO gas-release bags. The operator needed to break the ampoule by hand when starting a cycle.
The EO Gas cartridges in AN7514 Kits are much safer and easier for the operator to use. Each 17.6-gram ampoule, a micro-dose of ethylene oxide, is housed in a hard plastic casing featuring an easy-to-press trigger button that safely breaks the internal ampoule. A built-in trigger guard helps prevent accidental activation until the cartridge is ready for use, providing an added layer of protection and improving operator safety.
AN87 Dosimeter
Time and EO concentration are essential to successful sterilization. The AN87 Dosimeter provides visual confirmation that these parameters have been fulfilled. Unlike the previous AN7916 kit, which did not include dosimeters, each AN7514 Gas Sterilization Kit comes with 14 AN87 Dosimeters—enough for 14 sterilization cycles. By including dosimeters in every kit, customers have everything they need in one package, eliminating the need for separate purchases.
Permeable vs Impermeable Sterilization Bags
One of the most significant improvements in the AN7514 Gas Sterilization Kit is the use of impermeable sterilization bags. The previous AN7916 kit included permeable sterilization bags, which allowed ethylene oxide (EO) to pass through into the sterilization chamber during the cycle.
The AN7514 kit includes 14 impermeable sterilization bags that retain the EO gas within the bag, helping to achieve a higher and more consistent EO concentration throughout the sterilization cycle. This improved gas containment supports more effective sterilization while maintaining compatibility with your existing AN74 sterilizer.
Purge Probe Replacement Strap
Both the AN7916 and AN7514 Gas Sterilization Kits include a bonus replacement Purge Probe Strap. Replacing the strap each time you replace your gas kit helps keep EO contained within the impermeable sterilization bag, improving cycle efficiency.
